This segment is a memorial to her life. In summer 2004, Carole Palumbo, photographer and author of the book In the Secret Place, appeared on ReachOUT.tv to discuss her walk of faith in the face of two life-threatening diseases: multiple sclerosis & breast cancer. In her interview, Carole and Gary Scarano discussed how over the course of twenty-five years of illness, Carole kept fifty journals to chronicle her incredible Christian journey in the midst of both those illnesses. One year ago this week, on August 12, 2004, Carole Palumbo was called home to Heaven. Her sister, Barbara Palumbo, has put together a new book call The Final Journal, covering Carole's last two months of journal entries. Portions of Carole's original 2004 segment are integrated with this recent ReachOUT.tv interview with some of her friends, and we dedicate this TV segment to Carole's memory.
