During the conflict in El Salvador over a 12 years period, both sides were recruiting boys as young as 12 years old. This movie raises the awareness of foreign countries who are actively recruiting young boys to be part of their army. The producer Luis Mandoki says there are over 300,000 young boys, as young as 8-years old being recruited in over 40 countries in the world. The movie is about the life of Oscar Torres, who was also the Screenwriter for the film. Mr. Mandoki, the Producer and Director of the movie, portrays the US army as part of the problem in the recruitment of young boys in this film. Whether that is true or not he has gone to the United Nations to ask for their involvement to stop the recruitment of young boys in over 40 countries.
