The Bible should NOT be in today's Schools,
right? That violates separation of Church
and State, right? Sheila Weber of the Bible Literacy Project takes us through these very interesting
and controversial issues. Watch this ReachOUT.tv
segment and find out how helpful the Bible
as literature is in any school curriculum.
Sheila Weber is Co-founder of the New York Fellowship.
A native of the Washington, D.C. area, Sheila
has worked as a U.S. Senate press aide, a
staff writer at McCall's magazine, and director
of public relations for a large international
rehabilitation facility. Sheila is director
of many public relations and communications
endeavors--among most recent, the Bible Literacy Project, an effort to increase study and literacy
of the Bible in American public
schools.
Release of the new, landmark Bible Literacy
Project student textbook, the first for academic
study of the Bible in public schools in nearly
30 years. The first to be reviewed by eminent
scholars, to meet First Amendment standards,
and to establish a broad coalition of support.
